Greater Faridabad Neharpar

Do you know that Faridabad Neharpar refers to the newly developed Sectors 66 to 89 in Greater Faridabad, Haryana, India? Where sectors 66 to 74 are Industrial areas for Business, while sectors 75 to 89 are Residential areas for plots and flats in Greater Faridabad Neharpar. DND–Faridabad–KMP Expressway is an under-construction. It is a 59 km long, 6-lane wide access-controlled expressway in Delhi NCRIndia. This will also connect the junction of the DND Flyway and Ring Road at Maharani Bagh with the KMP Expressway at Khalilpur village, in the Nuh districtHaryana. Presently, all this is a part of the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway Project. In the near future, this project will also have its connectivity with Greater Faridabad Neharpar.

Overall, in Haryana, it will pass entirely through the existing Faridabad bypass road. This year, the HSVP has transferred the Faridabad bypass to NHAI for the construction of the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway project.

Delhi–Mumbai Expressway: Greater Faridabad Neharpar

The construction work of the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway has already taken place this year. It will connect all the way from Delhi to Baroda with a 1350 km long expressway. NHAI has further divided this project into 4 sections amongst 52 tenders/construction packages. However, the distribution of this project, will still take its time to complete, hopefully not later than March 2023.

Link with Jewar Airport known as Uttar Pradesh north India Airport from Faridabad (Greater Faridabad Neharpar), is in Uttar Pradesh’s new development plan.

The NHAI announced this project in August 2021. It will be a 30km long road connection between the Noida International Airport in Jewar and Sector 65 bypass connected to Greater Faridabad Neharpar. However, it may take some time to complete.

Link with KGP Expressway: Greater Faridabad Neharpar

Therefore, A 12 km long, 4-lane wide highway is also proposed by NHAI in Faridabad district (Greater Faridabad Neharpar). It will connect Chandawali village on DND–KMP Expressway with Maujpur village on Eastern Peripheral Expressway or EPE (also known as KGP Expressway).

  • Mar 2019: Foundation stone led by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on 1 March 2019 in Mithapur, Delhi.
  • Dec 2019: NHAI also invited bids for construction in 3 packages under Bharatmala Pariyojana.
  • July 2020: Work awarded by NHAI to DRA Infracon Private Limited (Package-1 & Package-2).
  • Aug 2020: Therefore, NHAI has awarded this project to DRA Infracon Private Limited.
  • Oct 2020: Soil testing work started in the Faridabad district of Haryana
  • Feb 2021: Most likely the construction work will start this year.
  • May 2021: Construction work started in Package-3 on 14 May also working to complete this asap.
  • Aug 2021: on the other hand Construction work started in Package-2 (Faridabad bypass) on 10 August.
  • Oct 2021: HSVP started demolishing illegal encroachments falling on the RoW in Faridabad.
  • Jan 2022: However Construction work started in Package-1 (Delhi) on 11 January.
  • Mar 2022: Last but not least Segment Launcher started the erection of concrete structures in Maharani Bagh on 21 March.

The construction work of the ‘DND–Faridabad–KMP’ section was awarded by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to Dineshchandra R. Agrawal Infracon Private Limited (DRA Infracon) in August 2020. Additionally, this project will reduce congestion on Ashram to Ballabhgarh route (via Badarpur). In Haryana, Similarly govt completed the underpass of Ashram and that impacted a lot of reduction in traffic. it will have multiple Flyovers and a 3-lane service road on either side of Faridabad bypass / Greater Faridabad Neharpar road.

In the light of that, 7 km out of 9 km route in Delhi state will be elevated with two-level crossings at 4 locations of the Delhi Metro rail line (near Okhla Vihar and Kalindi Kunj metro station), making it the 1st expressway in India to cross above elevated metro rail line.

Faridabad
